Sony has off late trimmed down its vast range of laptop models into a smaller number of customisable laptops. The VAIO fit range is the first of the lot. As the name suggests, this range offers laptop with slim and trim chassis. Sony VAIO Fit 15E SVF15218SN (3rd Gen Core i5/4GB/500GB/Win 8) Notebookis also one Notebook from the same range and hopes to give you all the basic features that are necessary for efficient and smooth computing. 

Design

Sony VAIO Fit 15E SVF15218SN (3rd Gen Core i5/4GB/500GB/Win 8) Notebook packs in a 15.5-inch display and yet manages to look quite sleek and slim. It has an aluminium frame and a very thin bezel that contribute to its overall appeal. With compact dimensions of just 380.3mm x 260.8mm x 25.1mm, it would have easily been classified as an Ultrabook of not for the weight of 2.5Kg which is on the heftier side. Still, this smart device looks absolutely wonderful and damn stylish. Sony has succeeded in working its design magic on this budget laptop.

The processor is adequately supported by 4GB DDR3 RAM that promotes multitasking. You get 500GB HDD SATA, 5400RPM on this Notebook to take care of all your storage needs. This Fit laptop runs on Windows 8 Operating System and brings to you all the modern computing features especially the touch screen technology. This Sony laptop sports a backlit keyboard that also has a number pad. It also promises a very good battery backup so that you can stay mobile for longer period. Satisfactory processing power, decent connectivity and numeric pad are some of the other highlights to watch out for. 

Cons

Despite the presence of adequate processor and good connectivity features, Sony VAIO Fit 15E SVF15218SN (3rd Gen Core i5/4GB/500GB/Win 8) Notebook does not offers an excellent display. The contrast is low and the colors are unfaithful. To top that, the battery life is short and the weight is on the heavier side.
