HP Pavilion G6-2231TX is a quality product from HP in the mid-budget range. Display and looks are awesome with sharp display and finer exterior looks. Performance is also decent with no lag during browsing or working on any application.
However had some initial trouble using Windows 8 that came along with the Laptop. Battery back-up is good enough and runs for almost 3 Hours. Graphics card of 1GB is good enough for playing high end games with medium or low settings, but starts lagging when playing with high settings. But can play DOW2-Retribution, MW3, GTA-4 with high settings comfortably.
But do not go with offers of free movie tickets, as the movie we can watch, theater and the show timing are not decided by us and we have go with what they finally select for us (Applied for 3 times, but my show is not finalized yet even after 1 and a half month, not sure whether this is decided by Flipkart or the Seller from where I brought the Laptop). So do not be excited by the offer of free movie tickets, unless you have enough time to go theater whenever they finalize your show.
